The first entry

A bit tentatively and shyly, I enter the blogging world. Please read my beginning entries with a grain of salt, affectionatetly thinking of me as the "little sister" of blogging. Perhaps one day I will have posted as many entries as some of you(although some of you are frozen in time, as we have discussed). Anyway, this first entry is just to say Welcome and Howdy to my blogsite. I hope to post some of my thoughts from down here in L.A. as I am learning in my classes and experiencing city life. I welcome your comments, wise-cracks, nuggets of wisdom, and the like. Carpe Diem, or should I say, Carpe Blogging.
